A bit about Alison

I love my job in the NHS and have recently made the decision to start working independently too. It is great to have a direct relationship with the people I am working with, giving them the support they need when they want it.

I qualified as a Speech and Language Therapist in 2004 with a Masters in Medical Science (MMedSci) from the University of Sheffield. Since then, I have worked in the NHS for 16 years in a range of settings including early years, mainstream schools, preschool complex needs and cochlear implant programmes. My specialism is in deafness and hearing loss (adults and children). Alongside working as a Speech and Language Therapist, I am a Certified Auditory Verbal Therapist.

I am keen to help you or your child improve skills in listening, speech and communication. I have achieved Level 2 British Sign Language.
